Sean Kingston‘s mother is breathing fresh Florida air again after spending four days in jail following her arrest during a raid on Sean’s home.
Janice Turner was arrested a few hours before Sean during a raid on the singer’s Florida home on Thursday by the Broward County Sheriff’s Office. As previously reported, Janice was arrested on a warrant for fraud and theft.
According to court records, the 61-year-old faces eight accusations, including organized fraud, grand theft, and identity theft.
Following her bail hearing on Friday, she secured a $160,000 bond to obtain her release. According to Broward County jail records, she was released about 5:54 p.m. on Sunday.
Of course, her son was arrested on the same warrant just a few hours later, but on the other coast. Sean played a gig in Fort Irwin, California, and was detained immediately afterward.
He’s been in San Bernardino County jail all weekend and will have his extradition hearing on Tuesday… before being transferred back to Florida.
If Janice, who was previously convicted of bank fraud in 2005, returns to Sean’s home in Southwest Ranches, FL, it may feel empty as a result of the raid.
TMZ obtained the first photos inside the residence, revealing some of the stuff recovered by cops, including a massive LED TV screen worth $150,000.
Over six months, Sean and his mother are accused of stealing about $500K in jewels, more than $200K from Bank of America, $160K from a car dealer, $100K from First Republic Bank, and even $86K for a bespoke bed.
