Years after their initial on-screen chemistry made them shine, Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock discussed the possibility of working together again on a film at least once “before [they] die.”
During an interview on the 50 MPH podcast, the co-stars talked about their beloved action thriller Speed, as well as the possibility of a threequel to the film.
While talking about the possibility of doing Speed 3, Keanu said “I mean, you know — we’d freakin’ knock it out of the park,”
When Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves starred in the 1994 film Speed, fans were enthralled with their on-screen chemistry.
Sandra and Keanu expressed on the show that they hoped to work together on at least one more film before they passed away.
Sandra said during the interview, “There’s no formula. It just is,” “Before I die, before I leave this planet, I do think that Keanu and I need to do something in front of the camera. Are we, you know, in wheelchairs or with walkers? Maybe. Are we on little scooters at Disneyland?”
The Matrix actor agreed with her and that he would also love to collaborate with her again.
After Keanu and Sandra had an incredible performance in the 1994 film Speed, fans fell in love.
Sandra acknowledged that although she wasn’t initially selected for the film, being added to the cast led to some of the happiest experiences of her life.
Keanu added his perspective, saying that during the shoot, they complimented one another.
The actress, who co-starred with Keanu in the 2006 movie The Lake House, claimed that his encouragement during the filming of Speed allowed her to attempt and say anything.
