Monster NYC mom allegedly hung 6-year-old daughter by wrists and beat her to death in ‘house of horrors’

A monster Bronx mom allegedly hung her 6-year-old daughter by her wrists and beat her to death — the final act in a long series of unspeakable child abuse in the “house of horrors.”

Lynija Eason, a 27-year-old resident of East 165th Street in the borough’s Morrisania section, is accused of brutally abusing her child, Jelayah Eason Branch, for weeks starting March 1.

Cops discovered the little girl’s body in the filthy apartment Sunday, the Bronx District Attorney’s Office said Tuesday.

The child was found with bruises and malnourished — with marks on her wrists from the restraints her mom allegedly used to hang her in a closet and beat her.

“The little girl was allegedly hanged by her wrists and beaten by the defendant with a hard object,” DA Darcel Clark said in a news release. “For weeks before she succumbed, Jelayah knew only pain and hunger, allegedly committed by her own mother.”

The city medical examiner’s office ruled Jelayah’s death a result of child abuse, positional asphyxia, blunt force injuries and malnourishment, the DA said.

“We will get justice for Jelayah, and are providing services and support to her two siblings who survived a house of horrors,” Clark added.

Eason has been indicted for second-degree murder, first degree manslaughter, second-degree manslaughter and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child, Clark said.

Bronx Supreme Court Justice Brenda Rivera ordered that Eason’s remand be continued — meaning she will remain at the Rose M. Singer Center in the Bronx, where she’s currently locked up.

She’s due back in court June 26.
