Is Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie’s Shiloh Dropping 'Pitt' From Surname

Brad Pitt‘s daughter, Shiloh, appears to want nothing to do with him — or, at the very least, nothing to do with his surname… because she is formally dropping it.

Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, who turned 18 just a few days ago on May 27, submitted documents for a legal name change, specifically eliminating the “Pitt” from her last name and changing her name to simply “Shiloh Jolie.”

Mind you, this document was filed on Monday, which was Memorial Day and also her 18th birthday. So it appears that this was one of the first things she wanted to accomplish as an adult.

It’s quite telling and no secret that Brad has had rocky relationships with several of his children since he and Angelina filed for divorce in 2016 — a nasty split that continues in court to this day.

Shiloh’s request for a name change has yet to be granted; nonetheless, it is only a matter of time until it becomes official.

As you are aware, Shiloh is one of Brad and Angie’s three biological children; they also have three adopted children, including 19-year-old Zahara Jolie, who no longer uses the name Pitt.

Their other daughter, 15-year-old Vivienne, has also apparently avoided using “Pitt” in her name as she was solely identified as Vivienne Jolie on a playbill for an Angelina-produced Broadway musical where she was lately working as a PA.

Maddox, the oldest of the lot at 22, no longer uses “Pitt” in his surname… but it looks like Shiloh is the only one of the kids who has sought to make it count in court.
